NS BIJOUX is a world of unisex jewelry created to emphasize individualism , independence and a strong personality .
NSBijoux is original silver jewelry plated with 24k Italian gold.
The collection was created from a passion for modern, geometric and architectural forms.
Each piece is a small work of art using intricately interwoven links, zircons and pearls, as well as a unique name inspired by the Paris Metro.
It all started with designing the interior of a restaurant Marcello , on Piękna Street in Warsaw. Then it was built Bohoplate , which is the result of a combination of surprising design and tableware. Ever since I started designing ceramics, I've loved the creative process. I consider it an extension of my architectural studies in Paris. At Bohoplate, I started using jewelry-like gold elements, for example, on cup handles.
But my jewelry journey began much earlier. My aunt, who had lived in Paris for years and was responsible for haute couture accessories at the Christian Lacroix fashion house, often brought her jewelry designs to Warsaw. As a little girl, I would sneak into my mother's bedroom and play with the heart-shaped brooches signed CL.
My aunt has passed on a lot of her knowledge to me. For several years now, she's been running her own brand, Gentle Storm, which I admire greatly. I love her geometric, minimalist rings and Calder-esque bracelets.
She also inspired me to create my own brand: NS Bijoux. My collection is eclectic, just like the interiors I surround myself with and my personality.
NSBijoux features modern, geometric, architectural forms. Sometimes greatly exaggerated to create a surprising effect and emphasize individuality and a strong personality .
I like interiors that surprise me and are unconventional, and I look for the same effect in styling and accessories.
NSBijoux focuses on modernity, but also pays tribute to classic, more nostalgic jewelry traditions. These include necklaces with a pre-war braid inspired by Parisian flea markets, and bracelets made from old watch parts. Each piece in the collection is a small work of art. Ideas first come to me in the evenings, then I put them down on paper and create technical drawings. Professor Jacek, who has extensive experience in jewelry and goldsmithing, and a knowledge of gemstones, collaborates with me on the prototypes.
The collection also features elements reminiscent of the grunge style: jewelry should communicate the wearer's approach to life. Traits of this style are also evident in oversized rings, untamed weaves, and looped bracelets, which wrap around wrists and fingers in an irregular, almost organic manner, reminiscent of Tommaso Barbi's sculptural lamps . Chains with a thousand links evoke the human bonds that, as the Covid-19 pandemic has shown, have proven more important than we could have imagined.
The symbolism of jewelry is key to me. Precious metals worn on the skin are like extensions of our bodies and hold immense sentimental value for me. I want my jewelry to be timeless and pass down from generation to generation, capturing the personal stories of its owners.
NS bijoux is for everyone because jewelry has no gender. The collection also surprises with its combination of different shades of gold. Each of us is different, and each of us can decide for ourselves what material to use.
